You will enjoy our neighborhood! Our beach access is just a .5 mi or 10 minute walk from the cottage on the way is Dunkin Donuts and Ashley's Espresso Parlour, which serves coffee, wine and beer. Behind Ashley's Espresso Parlour is Mom's Sweet Shop, which is a retail store and an ice cream spot! Restaurants and shopping are also walkable in the Seagate North Shopping Center.

We had such a wonderful stay at one of Preserve Co’s properties in the Outer Banks! The house was absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, and incredibly family-friendly. We especially loved the amazing pool and backyard, as well as the lovely deck and screened-in porch—there were so many great spaces to relax, gather, and enjoy time together. The location was fantastic, too. We were close and accessible to so many of the things that make the Outer Banks special, including the beach, great restaurants, biking, and more. Yet the house itself was tucked away on a quaint, peaceful road, which made it feel quiet and relaxing while still being conveniently located. The communication from Preserve Co was also excellent. All of the information for arrival, throughout our stay, and departure was communicated clearly and was very easy to understand. Our flights were severely delayed, and we really appreciated that someone even checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. That extra level of care and thoughtfulness really stood out. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and the home truly felt like a place where we could unwind and make great family memories. We would absolutely stay with Preserve Co again and highly recommend them!

Find us

Walk back to the 'sound side' via the stoplight and pedestrian crosswalk to enjoy the miles of walking and biking paths on Bay Drive bordering the Albemarle Sound and Kitty Hawk Bay. There are two community sound accesses close by - the one turning right does not have parking, the one to the left on Bay Drive has 3 available parking spots along with a dock and gazebo with swimming access. These are the BEST spots to swim, launch a kayak or take in the sunset over the water. For those with bicycles, you can bike the entire 2.5 mi Bay Drive Multi-Use Path or continue down W First Street to the Wright Brother's Monument. Access is by the air field entering in the back of the park. Also walkable is Paradise Golf and Arcade with Mini Golf, Bumper Cars, Go-Karts and Arcade. Several restaurants like Henry's Restaurant, Two Roads Tavern, Chili Peppers and Brew Thru (for drinks).
